We are currently renovating our barn to create a unique and high-quality experience for the horses and their people. If you are interested in keeping your horse with us, send in an application to be put on the waiting list.
If you are attending Afred U or SUNY Alfred and are looking for a place to keep your best friend, send us an application and ask for a tour. There is still time to make arrangements for the summer break and the fall semester.
We also offer small pony/mini horse and donkey/mule specific turnout and care.
Just minutes from Alfred University and Alfred State College campuses, Hamilton Hill Stables is nestled in the hills of Southern Tier New York.
Our stable is a privately held and owner-occupied horse boarding facility. It covers 100 acres with a 100×150 outdoor arena, a 55×100 indoor arena, eight-stall barn, mare/gelding turnout pastures, tack room, wooded trails, and hay fields. Owner has 25+ years of experience caring for horses, donkeys, and mules with a holistic approach.
We welcome all varieties of disciplines and horses. We give each horse the best care possible whether it be a well-earned retirement for your heart horse, special care for your laminitic or insulin-resistant horse, or personalized care for your horse’s individual needs.
Each day, horses get 12+ hours of turnout time, high-quality Poulin grain, 2-3 feedings of home-grown hay, and constant access to water in all the fields.
Trainers are welcome and are required to have insurance.
